Getting started

How it works, step by step

Four steps separate a room with no screen from a room that informs. The first room takes about an hour; the next ones are duplicated.

A screen — or the one you already have

A professional display, a door panel or a tablet. EMITY is compatible with every manufacturer, so your current estate can stay in place.

The player, or the app

An E-BOX player plugs in behind the screen. If your screen is a connected model — Samsung Tizen, LG webOS or Android — the E-SOFT app installs straight onto it, with no box at all.

The link to your calendar

The platform connects to the calendar you already use. Slots come across on their own: no double entry to plan for.

Updates, from your browser

You build the visual in the EMITY built-in editor — and, if your teams already use them, in Canva or Adobe Express. The screen updates remotely.

The sizes below are orders of magnitude, not a rule. What matters is reading distance: a door panel is read from a metre away, a room screen from five or six.

Your questions about meeting room digital signage

The cost breaks down into the screen, the player if the screen is not a connected model, and the software subscription. The subscription is chosen per screen, on the Standard, Premium or Excellence plan — so you can start with one room and extend later. The plans are detailed on the subscriptions page, and a 3-month trial lets you measure real usage before committing.

Allow about an hour for the first one: mount the screen, plug in the player or install the app, connect the calendar, build the first visual. The rooms after that are duplicated from the platform, a few minutes each.

Yes, in the large majority of cases. EMITY is compatible with every manufacturer: a connected Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS) or Android screen takes the E-SOFT app, and any other screen with an HDMI input works with an E-BOX player. An estate inherited from another solution can also be taken over.

That is the most comfortable way to run it: slots come across on their own from Outlook or Google Calendar, with no double entry. Running without that link is still possible — the screen then shows a schedule you update from the platform.
